After moving from console games to the mobile / facebook world I discovered many similarities and many differences. On a mobile platform it’s in your best interest to keep poly count tight, and your maps are for the most part baked down. You have to create efficiently and with smart reserve. It was a challenge that I loved. Going back to the roots of quality hard surface 3D and smart texturing techniques was very enjoyable. Regardless mobile or console a good game is a good game. Here are the mobile projects I created and implemented art for on iOS and Android. The team consisted of 2 artists, myself and a close colleague of mine. The games were produced for Flipside5 Inc.
